Hit the beach in the heat today and snagged a 2lb jack on a pompano jig tipped with fish bites. Was a little bummed since I was thinking I had gotten a personal best pomp till it came to hand 
then proceeded to jig up a couple real sweet lizard fish. Then I snagged a little mango snapper. Mostly nothing but a jack and a mango seems exotic to me.
