The past 3 days has been some of the most wondy days i have fished in. Normally i would have just packed up and went home but with nothing else to do i threw my lines in. First day i caught the usual whiting. Then used the whiting to catch bluefish. Then threw the bluefish to catch shark (pretty much given up on redfishing). Caught the blacktip the first day. Caught the sharpnose yesturday. And caught what i believe is a sandbar shark today. The blacktip did not put much of a fight up. The sharpnose put up a tiny fight. The sandbar put up one hell of a fight. My first big shark. I had a guy take pictures he took one then the phone died. Dont know how big it was maybe 6ft. I caught him on my 12ft ocean master rod and the 8000bg wich performed perfectly. A few things i have learned is have all my stuff out and ready. I was using a circle hook but it hooked deep in its mouth so i cut the hook so hopefully it will spit it out. Also i used my own castable leaders i make that are 14ft long. 7ft cast length.
Way to work up the food chain!
Great report again Stevo. You are killing it.
stevo fantastic job man! learning quick haha
Looks and sounds like some good fun to me. Don’t give up on the Reds yet. It’s still really warm with next week looking even warmer. I’ll bet you’ll find a big ole red or 2 when we get some cooler weather, especially as much as you get to go fishing !

I hope so. Cant wait for the weather to get a little cooler to get these people off the beach. I usually dont have a problem but they followed me around everywhere today. I was fishing where no one was around and this family of like 10 with little kids sits right behind me. There was no one 200 yards either side of me. They start playing and going in the water right by my lines. I stayed at that spot for like 20 mins hoping someone got hooked but the more i thought about it the more i woukd feel bad if an innocent kid got hooked because their paelrents are idiots. So i packed up and hit another spot up. Moved so much didnt catch anything.
