Was out from 7am-130pm sulluvans island neat station 18. Caught a ton of whiting as usual. Used whiting as bait on my shark rod rotating bait every 30 mins. Didnt catch anything on the shark rod kept having whiting steel my cut bait. Threw out the small bait rod with a double float leader with small circle hooks and caught my first what i think is a redfish on fishbites pink shrimp. Excellent fight had to revive him in the water he wouldnt swim off on his own untill i held him up for a min. Also i didnt have a tape measure on me so i dont know what size he was. What is the keeping size? 14in-23inch?
