Sullivan's Island

Fished Sunday around the corner from Breech’s. Again bait shop didn’t have live shrimp so went with frozen shrimp and squid. Caught 2 small whiting on shrimp during second half of outgoing. Went to the rocks when tide was slack and beginning of incoming. Caught 2 small BSB and a stone fish. Friend lost something with some good size near the rocks also. Guy fishing next to me caught a few nice sheepshead also. Everything on frozen shrimp. Can’t wait to use live shrimp lol.

i was out sunday too and caught a baby sharpnose and as usual nearly a few paddleboarders.

Remember, paddle boarders are catch and release only.

Lol. We actually had some guys and their kids in a boat come out of Breech’s and anchor 15 yrds from our baits and start fishing right on top of us. I almost had the Boston come out of me for the first time since I moved here. If I had a boat I sure as heck wouldn;t be fishing right there at Breech’s.

they will move when 3oz of lead and 2 4o hooks land in the boat a few times.

swimmers at folly that cuss you out after you tell them theyre way too close to everyones lines (50 feet from the pier and about even with the bouy) tend to move quickly tail between their legs when sinkers from several anglers land 2 feet from them too :imp:

Constantly get the surfers at Folly that paddle to close. I had one guy “yep” me like 5 times when I asked him to move out. Needless to say he had a 3oz land about 2ft from him and he moved on.

We do not rise to the occassion…but fall to the level of our training

Man do they put up a fight! Careful, don’t crank on the reel to hard or they can pop the line. Sometimes you have to use the fish bat to get them in the boat.
