Went out today, for the first of many summer fishing sessions. In approx 5 hrs, we got 1 21.5" ladyfish, 3 blues, and 1 small pup. Overall a good time out, looking forward to many more.

Nice day. What kind of bait? Where on Sullivan’s where you?
was out there on wed also, fished 9am till about 1. action was slow. took 1 decent pompano,2 tiny whiting and a baby shark. fished frozen bait shrimp and nothing biting on cut whiting
tried station 30 with the wife and her sister yesterday and much of it was flooded with tourists, but found 1 spot close to the rocks to the left nobody was at for 50 yards or more so tried there. they got their tanning interrupted with 3 whiting, 1 of which came home in the bucket and nothing hit a piece of stingray or a live 8" mullet i netted. i did say nobody WAS there, but after 2 hours some lady decided to swim out right between me and another group and right over my lines even after i told her where my lines were and yelled at her at least 3 times for being dumb enough to run into my line in the water while the rest of the island had nobody in sight fishing. i think the best thing i saw that i always joked about but never saw was a kiteboard with a black and white bullseye on the sail!!! i took aim once when he was getting way too close at one point but never fired at that bullseye since he got the idea and kept off to the side where nobody was fishing for hundreds of yards when he saw me possibly make eye contact and wind up in his direction >:D needless to say the blue heron came by to visit as well. anyone do any better or get better entertainment?
