So far Sunday 2/16 looks good. Not sure if I’m doing a seabass trip or a tuna trip since there is still plenty of time for the weather to change. Anyone else going? If I go to the GTH, it would be super to have a buddy boat this time of year.
My skiff doesnt have the fuel range to make it to the hole,but if i can dig my way out of our blizzard i maybe able to pickup a few extra 5 gal jugs…lol
I have been watching it as well. My weekend plans might get messed up due to this winter storm

Looks like it may cooperate. May stick close and chase flounder/sheephead if we don’t make it all the way out. Water looked really good on last satellite shot.

It doesn’t look to be the Anglers Dream out 60 miles in a 26ft boat from several forecasts for sunday- weather has not been nice to us so far this year
Heck i am still snowed,you know its bad,they closed Walmart…
1 boat in for repairs.

I’ll be strongly considering it. I am probably not going out that far though. I’m feeling just bumping the bottom at y73 and if we limit out quickly, try a little bit of trolling or try some other spots to scope out species variety. I’ve only been to gth once and it was in someone else’s boat. Not sure id like to go that far in February. I’d be down for buddy boating for sure though. Pray the weather holds, I need to scratch this itch badly. Btw, I have a 23’ deep v walkaround
We are probably going as well. Either 27 contender or 25 sea hunt, probably leave out of MI. We were thinking of going a little north of the GTH though.
It seems mothernature did not hear me,the forecast has changed to not so good?
Yeah not so great now. Blowing 65 on Sat and 30 on Sunday. I may have to pass and thaw out some of this fall’s catch for dinner.
