Fished last half of the outgoing and 1st hour of incoming Sunday morning on Sullivan’s around the rocks. I caught 4 14-16" trout and a bunch (more than 12) rat reds. Most were caught on mud minnows. I switched to artificial after the 1st little spottail and caught the rest on a trout eye w/ “Mississippi Hippie” grub until the thunderstorms kicked up about noon. I went over to a not so secret dock in Mt. P after the lightning passed and caught another trout, 1 whiting and 6 more little reds all on live shrimp in the rain. No big ones, but still a fun day. I was glad to see so many little spottails given the recent concerns regarding declining stocks. Here’s a link to a couple of pictures.
