Just as it looked like the east winds would clear up the Edisto waters, we got a frog strangling rain and hail at low tide Sunday. I ran up several creeks this morning and the further up I went, the muddier it got. Hopefully, with the east wind, at least the lower areas of yhe creeks will clear up, somewhat.

i went out on the south edisto friday in search of spottails and trout but got my butt handed to me. only caught a whiting and a bonnethead. the water was nasty. i might need to book a charter with you bob, so i can get an idea of how to actually catch inshore fish.
do you have an economic fishing charter stimulus package for a poor, recent college graduate that can supply his own rods, tackle, and (gulp) bait? 
btw, the fella working at the marina gave me a few of your trout trick soft plastics to try out. i’ll let you know how they work out for me.
maybe not officially. i went in there to buy some of the famous trout tricks but they were out. the gentleman working there was nice enough to let me have a couple out of his own tacklebox.
