Support Your Cover!

Does your cover have low areas where water may be allowed to pool? Do you have an open bow or any other open areas that may need to be supported? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then it might be time to consider some type of support system or adjustable poles to extend the life of your cover.

With a support system or support poles, your cover will be properly tented giving it the angle it needs to shed water, snow and debris. When water or snow stands on your cover it may eventually seep through, causing the inside of your boat to get wet. Although the material is breathable and allows moisture to evaporate through the cover, water sitting inside your boat can cause damage, mold and just be a mess to clean up. Puddled water or snow can also cause premature wear or even tearing on your cover. If debris is allowed to collect on your cover, it will eventually start to break the material down, causing it to lose its water repellency as well.

Support poles with a snap tip do not require any alterations to your cover. The poles are adjustable to various heights, allowing you to achieve the tent- like effect to shed snow and water. The vented support poles are a good option for areas with high humidity that need additional breathability. With the vented support pole, you would cut a small circular hole in your cover (using the template) and insert the vent. The pole then attaches to the vent and extends in height.

The Carver boat cover support system is one of the most efficient systems that works for virtually any type of boat, keeping water or snow from settling in any areas. The support system consists of a center adjustable pole with straps off the front and rear to create an upside do
