Surf 3/1 FOLLY!

I will hit the surf later this month after it warms up some more, March is a transition month to Spring. They are in the process of renourishing Folly, they started at the East end, should be done the whole beach in June. There will be beach again after that. Donā€™t know how it will affect the surf.

I noticed the pump barge of shore. I remember when the rocks were 4-6ā€™ high. Some are almost covered. Folks on the beach said several sets of steps were lost last night. The spot I fished today is the exact spot I fished 4-5 years ago. Neat how these places stay in the same area. The hole still had water in it at 12:45. Maybe even at dead low which was -1.12ā€™. This spot may give up a few fish tomorrow between 4-6pm. 11th east. For me right now itā€™s not worth the extra drive.

Have fun.

fixed that for ya.

iā€™m just bitterā€¦ this unpredictable emergency requires all kinds of economic aid from our government because people living on a ā€œbarrier islandā€ called ā€œthe edge of americaā€ in a place called ā€œthe lowcountryā€ are now the victims because they were allowed to purchase said ā€œlandā€ in the first place.

dparker, nice to hear of action in the surf. i think weā€™ll be out of the woods when it gets to 60 on the coast and stays there.

Dparker is this Folly on the south side, near the park? Love that spot, lots of sharks and everything from blacks to reds in the summer.

No. 10th ave. East. The stairs are from 10th beach access. There are always good holes between around 8th to 11th east. Fished the area many seasons.
