Will be in the area March 4 to 19th. Have not fished there before and
would appreciate info re types of fish, baits, etc. Most of my surf fishing has been in New Jersey.
Aint no fish at Edisto, only sharks, stay in N.J.
boatpoor you sound like a ignorant dumba$$
Most people surf fish with a pyramid sinker and dropper loop or a slider sinker on a “fishfinder rig.” It depends on if the water starts to warm up at all by then or not. Always worth a try though! Shrimp and cut mullet are probably the most common baits used.

x2 on pyramid sinker and 2 hook rig. Use shrimp to catch a croaker, cut croaker and use as cut bait. Fish just beyond or under the furthest breakers. Good luck! PS: Make SURE you get a SC license and keep your fish whole until you get home.

I would concentrate on beach to north of state park. At low tide look for irregular bottom to fish after tide gets up. Also fish the several (three) inlets. Good advice above.

I would charter either Capt Bob or Ugly Duck. Those fellers are ALWAYS posting pictures of fish!
