We will be spending last week in june at Edisto any help I can get On where to surf fish. I have fished Edisto A lot the past 5 or 6 years but never much luck. Any help would be great.Are if any one needs someone to help pay for gas on A boat.Just want to catch some to eat while we are there .HELP::
Close by:
Find a rip or suck out on front beach at low tide -1st choice-fish channel or either side up on the bar.
Fish any cut between two bars. (most of shore is pancake flat but you will find some if you look) Mark these so you can find them later.
Next to groins.
Short drive and hike away:
try N end past St Park where Jeremy Inlet comes out.
Try front beach at Botany Bay by creek (down on right)

Thanks I have fished Jeremy inlet I did O.K. is there any way to get there besides walk from park.Can you drive to Botany Bay.

state park is the only way (by land) to get to jeremy inlet. unless you live in jeremy cay. i have had really good luck at framptons inlet as well. cut mullet on a carolina rig.

Road to Botany Bay is up 174 just past George&Pinks produce and bbq place on right. B-Bay Rd. Goes past church on way - at end of long dirt road there is a gate and kiosk on left. Map shows way to parking area. 1/4 mile to beach and another 1/4 to creek mouth on right.
On the surf you have to find some kind of structure. Hi spot -low spot- sand bar - deeper trough - rocks - channel - creek mouth - oyster bar - grass edge- etc… Something different that holds fish.
Fish will feed there and push your luck way up over just a random stop and fish.

Go down the front beach till you get to the bay (first curve) or creek (second curve) fish with shrimp and you should pick up a whiting or something.
