Hey guys…is it possible to catch tarpon from the surf? I saw one jump near a rock groin last year and it was 25 yards from shore. can anyone recommend a good place on edisto to fish from surf?
I too am interested in this! I’ve seen videos of guys in Florida paddle boarding their line out and catching tarpon in the surf but I’ve never heard of that here
Saw one caught at Fripp years ago, quite a sight, near 150#, darn near drowned the guy!
