Where can I “legally” go in SC to do a little surf fishing for sharks? Was thinking Murrells Inlet on the North side near the Jetty since it’s not an area really swimmed but I don’t think I’m allowed to. Any help is appreciated.

you can fish for sharks in Murrells Inlet. Horry County (myrtle beach and parts of garden city) have laws against shark fishing, but Georgetown county does not. Murrells inlet does not. As for the north jetty, good luck finding a spot at high tide. the last hurricane removed a lot of sand from the beach so the water is almost up to the houses at high tide. Huntington Beach access would be your best bet to fish from the jetty, but you will need to check hours of operation if you are not staying on site. good luck!!
