Swallowing pride... Need some help...

Hey guys, for whatever reason my inshore game has completely gone out the window. When I used to have my panga I was mainly fishing nearshore and then fishing offshore in the Scarab. Always came home with fish. However I Never really focused on the creeks. Ive just recently purchased an IPB Flats boat and have gotten skunked about 90% of the time I go out. It is so (**() frustrating!

Ive been fishing around Sawmill Creek, Gilbert Flats, The point, all around pinckney, Widmill harbor. Racking my brain for where else to go.

On my flyrod im using clousers, crabs, spoons, and shrimp patterns

Spinner im using gulp on a jig head and Mud Minnows or Live finger mullet on a popping cork.

Been going mostly at High Tide and polling in the grass looking for tails or some other action in the water.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i may be wrong, but i think all this rain effecting the salinity of the water may be more to blame than your ability. only advice i would give is to pick up a pack of trout tricks and try those. they seem to work well. moving them slowly off the bottom.

You are not the lone stranger Pangaman, I have been having a tough time the past month fishing the high water. Try around low tide as the fish are more concentrated. Just stay out of my fishin holes, ha, ha.
