I am still confused about what happened Saturday. When Jack Legget came out to argue the call at home plate. The catcher was arguing and head coach tapped him on the shoulder and pointed out the runner was going to third base. The runner was tagged out at 3rd and Clemson’s 3rd baseman was standing over top of the runner shouting and pointing his hand in his face. Why was the play not a dead ball and the runner not sent back to 2nd base? How can a coach be on the field arguing and tap his catcher and tell him to throw it to 3rd and it was allowed? Gamecock runner should have just told the 3rd baseman to look at the scoreboard:smiley:

Not much has been said about that last out in the 2nd game for the Gamecocks.
Also heard where the Gamecocks were not to happy with Clemson’s closers antics at the end of the 8th inning and that “sorta” fired them up a little bit. 4 run top of the 9th after that and game over.
