As far as which would be Islamic Extremists? Once again how could anyone tell one way or the other from the videos? You do know however that statistics guarantee that most of whom you are seeing in those videos would seek to impose Sharia wherever they are if their numbers could enforce it. That’s how Islam uses religion as a cover for it’s politics everywhere it goes.

You can’t tall from the videos who is “islamic extrememist” and who isn’t. That was more of a joke, but I doubt some guy in a nike track suit complaining about not having access to hair gel is hell-bent on killing Americans.

He needed a housing to mount the electronics and that’s what he used. Really shouldn’t be a big deal, especially if he wss showing it to a teacher and not hiding it. I won’t claim to be an electronics or explosives expert but it doesn’t look threatening to me at all. Arrest is insanity. Kids should be encouraged to make things like this and show interest in the sciences. Just another example of weakness in our educational and police forces. I believe he deserved to be arrested because I believe he purposely initiated what could be considered a bomb hoax.
That clock he “invented” is actually a commercially built alarm clock that he pulled out of the case it was bought in and stuck into the briefcase looking pencil case.
But that part isn’t why I believe it was an intentional action to create the illusion of a bomb.
You pointed out the AC plug. Just like a typical digital alarm clock it’s AC powered. However notice the 9volt battery plug. That’s what keeps the alarm clock operational in a power failure. Without a 9volt battery plugged into the holder, the clock is as dead as a rock.
The closed case started beeping during his English class. The teacher in that class had no idea what the beeping device in the case was, and she was alarmed by it.
