Will be staying on the tidal creek right behind the island at the southern end next week. Can somebody tell me where my sources for bait and/or tackle if needed will be found.

edit:
Also we (wife and I)will have our Tarpon 120s with us, if anybody will be in the area and doesn’t mind an upstater tagging along
I would go with fresh shrimp and live minnows (fripp marina) in the canal. You should be able to purchase some small brown shrimp for next to nothing from Gays. Small circle hooks and light weights fished at low water should produce something.
Thanks all, how about along the way on 21? And I’m mainly talking about tackle if I need a few extra items. I will have my cast net and minnow trap so bait should not be a problem but just in case.
Anybody going to be out that way in a yak? The creek looks like lots of docks, would expect to find something, or is it too small and turns into nothing at low tide, if need be we are not afraid to venture out in the big pond or further in via the creeks. Not asking for anybodies spot but suggestions with regard to Skull Inlet/Creek, Trenachards Inlet, Story River, Pritchards Island area would be nice. Like I said, don’t need GPS coords but if you where to pick one of these areas over the other what would it be. Heck we would not be afraid to head to the inlet between Hilton Head and Fripp (don’t know the name, Fripp is not our regular salty water yak area). Wifey has already plotted out the shortest route to go Parris Island for some Marine (and I don’t mean water based creatures) site seeing.
Also, does anybody know if I can get through to the creek that comes out by the marina via the creek that runs just behind the island between 21 & Wahoo Dr. That (Wahoo Dr) is where we are staying. It looks like there is a connection but it also looks pretty small and may be dry at anything other than high tide.
