Thanks for the report! I’ve also heard the stripers have been bitng as well. Good stuff all around, I like it.
Fished for about 5 or 6 hours this morning at tailrace and saw a total of 8-10 fish caught if you count both sides of the river. People there said they did good last weekend but it was very slow today. Boat beside me caught a 23" striper.

Were they running water from the dam when the Shad were biting?

heard the early bite was the only action up there a week ago, not running water then
They been turning off the water at arrowhead.If I wanted to get some roe this weekend, I’d go to Wilson’s.
Dirty water…and as long as the guy up current keeps taking a leak that’s about the only current flow seems like. Cannot make this event mimic how it used to be 15 years ago. Think I’m just gonna stick to saltwater from here on out
