Tell me about the Pier, Mt Pleasant, near bridge..

We moved away 6 years ago for me to finish my M.Div, and now we are returning to Summerville this week.

The pier wasn’t built near the Ravenel bridge at the time, so I’ve never been on it.

What kind of fish are y’all typically catching out there?

How much is it to fish (one adult, one toddler), and will they let you throw a cast net or drop crab hoops (the small ones)?

Thanks!
Matt

Sheepshead ,redfish, trout are mainly caught out there.

Nice. I’d love to get into some sheepshead, I suck at finding them from shore.

Sounds like a great place to take my boy.

People catch sheeps but I’ve fished there twice and got skunked in Jan and blowfish last week. Seems like sheepshead arr pretty pressured so you gotta know how to catch them. But the kid would love catching bloefish I bet

Sheeps are there. They are pressured and sneeky. You can see them on the pill1ons mostly on high incoming or out going. Good luck:smiley::smiley::smiley:

I'd love to go down there and catch a sheep. Like I said never caught one. If I go with ya or somebody who knows how to catch them I got a spot for sheepshead I can trade ya, I think. I've hooked em but not landed em
