Clear water and cannot complain about the weather. Caught 8-10 keepers and some smaller ones so not the big numbers that the guides publish but enough that we felt it was successful. Didn’t catch any on artificial shrimp under corks but all were on paddle tail soft baits, dark color. Most success was off oyster beds near State Park boat ramp

Hard to compete with the guides. I have never had luck with the DOA shrimp under popping cork. I try it all the time but have caught very few, even when I am throwing to fish that are eating trout tricks and other soft plastics. I have heard guides say they work as well as live shrimp so I am sure it is something I am doing wrong.
