The skinnee for 6/8/2011 (Last time in Charleston)

Until 2014… The “Grand Finale” wasn’t so grand… We wanted to “go out with a bang” and we did! Unfortunately, it wasn’t exactly the type of bang we were looking for. The banging started about 15 miles past the rocks and it was the mount plate for the radar with a broken weld. Hit a bump and the radar jumps up 2 inches! Had to turn it around and put the gulfstream in the rearview mirror. Spent all morning planning logistics to get it fixed before the weekend. Got to borrow a trailer, take the radar off, weld it, put the radar back on. Also, had to take the Taco rigger bases off to get the t-top canvas off. What a nightmare…

Oh well, maybe we can pull it together Friday morning and get it fixed so that I can move the boat to my new home in Miami.

Sorry to hear that man.

Do you need someone to keep the cobwebs from building up while you are gone!?!?? You don’t reelly want to take your boat down there do you?

what do you do in miami?

I’m in IT and can work remotely anywhere. Wife is going back to school for a couple of years.

Sorry to hear about the Finale. You have an open invitation, anytime you want to come back and fish in familiar waters. I am sure you are going to get spoiled fishing a few miles from shore in Florida versus 50 miles.

I am serious about my invitation, stay in touch.

very nice. at one point i was looking pretty hard for a job down there. good luck

Sorry to hear about the Skinnee. Good luck with the move. I wish you lots of luck down there.

Good Luck my friend, we will plan on a road trip in the fall!

Shoot me over your waypoint file i will make sure they are safe guarded while you are gone. Remember the little people if you need someone to come down a fish for a couple of days. Come back and shoot some birds this fall.
