headed down this weekend, anything happening inshore?, would like to throw some artificials… appreciate any reports
Gulps, Trout Tricks, and DOA’s freelined and DOA’s under a cork. I had to run lots of water to find active fish.

Bert,
Are you going to be down next weekend?

You gotta love the South Carolina Lowcountry.
I fished Tuesday thru Saturday of last week and trout bite was strong each day. Father-inlaw counted 42 trout he caught one day. Spot-tails and black drum were also very active. About half the trout were in 13-15" range, several at 16", a few 17-18" and the rest small. All fish were caught with live shrimp 18-24" under a rattle cork. The shrimp were easily caught in shallow water but they may have moved to deeper water by now. The fishing is always great this time of year.
