I bought a boat this year and haven’t had anyy luck on Edisto yet. I was only able to get it in the water there twice but it was in Feb. and very cold and windy just wanted to put it in. Both times I put in at Steamboat but i have fished out of the Marina and live Oak landing before. I have fished any where from the Edisto 40 to the creeks. I’d rather keep this boat in the creeks as it is not a big water boat. Anyways the point of all this is I am only going to have the mornings to fish and any advice would be appreciated. I have never been to the Dawhoo landing that sounds good.

Also is Steamboat landing open I saw someone in one of the forums mention it being closed for road repair. It was in pretty rough shape this winter but it was doable.

Yes, Steamboat is closed until September.
Dawhoo is a good landing.
