Looks like its going to be a good weekend weather wise for fishing in the Surf, hoping the fish are going to cooperate. Last weekend was not a bad show before the wind got up Sunday!

Sunday was my most epic Red day in the surf ever. I’m from Columbia and only get down 4 or 5 times per year. Last fall and this fall (on Sunday) we did real well. (7 reds @ 40” or more landed on Sunday out of 9 hooked), so I already discussed how next Fall is time to switch up. I need to get better at lures for specks and lots of other stuff. I don’t think I’ll beat this past Sunday we had anyway for big reds.
No matter how many variables I have control over, I never expect a bite. I only hope.
