Hello, Iām a new , old guy here. Iāve lurked for years but never posted.
The original post throws off one of my strategies. I scan forums from different parts of the southeast to keep track of where the bite is and join in. Big drum hit great in the winter and especially #@$#%$% %^$#####$%$% $#@%$%$#, but this picture is from april 2012 in Louisiana. Thats a long run from demetre park, but it is possible. Iām guessing ICW south to the Okeechobee canal, thru the sewer, out at ft meyers, then ICW north til you pass Pontchartrain, then south to grand isle area. Thats a long run, but if it puts you on the fishā¦
Now the wait is on for the guys from Beaufort to start talking about how the cobia arenāt here this year

Man, I guess I was speaking the truth when I joked about a plane and GPS coordinates.
I actually feel kind of dumb now. I should have known the original picture is fake. On the left, there is no bridge or treeline. I donāt think itās possible to take a picture from demetre without bridge or treeline in it, save for maybe you were pointing the camera between sullivanās and the jetties on a day with a really high tide.

Yeah, that was me from a fishing trip out of Metairie, LA in Spring of 2012, so what, the reason I didnt post the real picture is because it shows landmarks at the park that would give away where it was caught. After the abuse I took last year for posting pics showing the location or giving away the location I received many angry responses and messages saying I was causing overcrowding and people to lose their spots at the park. Go back and look at the threads to see what I am talking about. This represents the fish I caught to a couple inches, more than a couple dozen people at the park can vouch for me that day including two who are a member of this forum, and hundreds know me from Demetre and see what I have brought in. Sorry for doing a good deed.

This isnāt a fish stick measuring contest. You should really feel free to post the messages.
At this point I doubt you even caught a fish there. However if you have two members that can vouch for you go ahead and have them do so. If not there is no point in name dropping. The reasoning doesnāt add up especially since someone called you out before (dparker) for reports that just didnāt seem right. Why make a report, say where you are fishing but then put up a fake pic to āconceal the spotā. You literally have 3 options at the parkā¦ the pier, little beach with rocks, slightly bigger beach with sandā¦
