I couldnt care less what you believe, doesnt affect my fishing one bit. Ive been fishing 30+ years in the Charleston area plus a couple trips a year all over the East Coast, Gulf Coast and elsewhere. People have known me as a regular at Demetre for the past 8 years, if you look at my past threads you will see members on here have fished with me there before, have literally come across hundreds of other fisherman there over the years that know me on a first name basis. My reputation there and what I have hauled in is well known. I have helped dozens of people at Demetre and elsewhere become better fisherman, come by anyday and ask the regulars on the pier about me, they will say Im the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. Now if yall boys could catch something half way decent yourselves there would be no need for yall to be haters. No skin off my back, I’ll keep on hauling in trophy class fish and yall keep on wishing. Last comment from me on this thread. Happy Fishing!

Well I’ll vouch for him on one thing, I met him one time on the main beach after seeing his posts last year and had a nice conversation with him. Have also asked people who fish there and they do say he is a regular. My 2 Cents.

1st, you post a picture of a fish from 2012 and try to pass it off as last week. ego??
2nd you reference your experience and “hundreds” of fishermen who know you, experience again, your past posts, your reputation on the pier, and people you’ve helped.
3rd you try to divert attention by declaring that if we could catch a fish, we wouldn’t “hate” on you
4th you declare you’ll continue to haul in trophy class fish while we keep “wishing”
I’m the one who really couldn’t care less what you think. I was just scanning the photo for exif data to get an idea of early drum patterns and it came up “fishy”. Next week I’ll just be a ghost on the internet again and magically show up at some great bites.
So we all know where you fish and apparently hundreds of people have seen you pull trophies from there, so make it all go away…post the real pic.

Yeah, that was me from a fishing trip out of Metairie, LA in Spring of 2012, so what, the reason I didnt post the real picture is because it shows landmarks at the park that would give away where it was caught. After the abuse I took last year for posting pics showing the location or giving away the location I received many angry responses and messages saying I was causing overcrowding and people to lose their spots at the park. Go back and look at the threads to see what I am talking about. This represents the fish I caught to a couple inches, more than a couple dozen people at the park can vouch for me that day including two who are a member of this forum, and hundreds know me from Demetre and see what I have brought in. Sorry for doing a good deed.

^^^This- Probably the best post of this whole thread. Some people have nothing better to do than badmouth/downplay others. I see this kind of thing alot in some of these threads. Its a waste of everyones time and does nothing to further the sport of fishing. Shame when people have to post fake reports so as not to be bashed on a fishing board.
Again, just post the report, no reason for a pic of an fish caught 4 years ago.

Well a lot of his previous posts of fish from the area look a lot like this one. You can’t actually see the surf zone… no real landmarks etc etc. And the picture currently in question comes from a guides website so you know… pretty easy to fish with a local guide and catch some fish. You don’t do any work. Just show up and use his knowledge to put you on the bite

Some one on this site has the perfect sig for this, forget who it is, something about not telling fish stories. Not that I’m saying I believe him but man would it suck if he was telling the truth. I was there for a few hours the day he posted the report with my dogs and no one was there fishing, I almost felt like asking him what time he was fishing there when I first saw the post but figured he wouldn’t want to give up his secrets. In the summer months there is really good crabbing there I caught 27 seven crabs over 6 inches in a hour with plenty of little guys that I threw back, and it is definitely near the top on my list for nicest places in Charleston, but as a fishing spot it ranks low. That Halibut makes me want grilled fish.
