Not really but I did catch 4 species of fish. Started off with a pinfish caught on shrimp and sliced him up and caught two puppy reds, they were nearly identical but I caught them on different rods. Got a ladyfish in and released it since I still had bait. I saw the pelicans diving within reach of my 12’ rod and managed to get a small trout.
It was scalding hot out there. Nearly blistered up my toes going through the light house path on Folly walking through the dune sand after the asphalt. Something was going on up there, Folly police and fire were up there and I had to help the FD get their 4-wheeler over the groin in the deep sand. I’ll be sticking to the beach path from now on.
