Tire reef bouy moved

It was super calm on Wednesday so we decided to go to the snapper banks. On the way out i saw the yellow tire reef bouy but we were 2 miles west of it according to the electronics. Got worried my chartplotter was messed up and couldnt find any structure so we went to the coordinates 2 miles away and my numbers were good. Watch out for it if your heading toward r7 snapper banks at dark its right in line from a heading starting at south beach.

Water was 66 all day at r7 snapper banks. Caught ajs and spades at the tower. No brownies showed. At the banks caught a 4 man limitvof seabass and vermillon and also 10 triggers. 10 small red snapper that looked like fat vermillion released.

Betsy ross buoy has been gone for a while as well. I guess this wind and seas has thrown everything around.

I was at the tire reef on Saturday. I noticed the buoy was gone as well. I didn’t fish in the spot where it used to be but it did look like someone had tied a dock bumper or something to where it used to be. Didn’t get close enough to see exactly what it was.
Did catch a 3 main limit of sea bass and threw back about 200. Didn’t see any Cobia but saw a huge migration of rays about 10 miles out which was pretty cool. No Cobia swimming with them.
