Caught 3 Cobia today in the middle of the Broad on the way to the bridge from the Turtle. 2 caught on whole squid on the bottom and 1 on a white buck-tail beside the boat. 1st fish around 11:30 mid tide. Last fish around 1. Sight fished before and after with no fish sighted on the surface. No bait around.

Great job Coach, in that second pic it looks like you got one of them tied up beside the boat in the water? That or one of them is trying to sneak up on you guys.

It’s pretty common to tie the first Cobia you catch to a cleat and let em drift out the back… Attracts other fish!

Especially if they are wearing the right perfume! I tie them off close so they don’t interfere with other lines like the chum bag line.
