tomorrow 5/14

what do you think about the weather tomorrow I’m fishing a small boat? (28’ Grady White marlin)

Trying to decide myself. Definitely going to get nasty in the afternoon.

Early morning don’t look bad. but around 1:00-2:00 it’s suppose to pick up. By 4:00 it’s gonna be 3.7’ at 5sec. Im staying home.

Steven

Im passing on it as well, maybe next weekend

We plan on going. Should be nice early, picking up later in the day but we’ll probably be heading west by then anyway.

Really hinges on what happens with the sea tonight… Going to get snotty after lunch time…

Was the same gamble last Saturday. I know a couple guys weren’t pleased with their ride home.

It’s probably going to feel like riding a horse in your tighty whiteys on the way in…

I don’t know about yall, but I’m not going swordfishing as planned tomorrow night. N Wind 20-30, 100 miles offshore in the dark. Nope, too old for that. The younguns can go without me!

Last weekend, I don’t think the forecast ever improved after Thursday like everyone was hoping. I think it stayed at 3-4 at 4 secs into Saturday.
At least tomorrow, especially if this storm pushes off this afternoon, should be manageable until late afternoon.
3 ft at 8 secs until about 3-4 PM, then a little choppier.
If I’m going to take a little beating, I’d rather have it on the way in anyway.

Not sure what model your looking at. All the models are pretty much showing over 15 @ 2pm. I agree sw behind you isn’t as bad. Of course the wind will be against the 3:40 low tide depending on what time your back. Latest GFS model run should be out at 4:30. I would bet it pushes the wind a couple hours sooner. I’ve been wrong many times before though.

We will be out. Headed south.

40’ Ocean SS “Jolly Roger”

I’d rather be fishing.

I reckon :sunglasses::smiley: I’d take a 40’ Ocean about anywhere, any time. Not looking real good for small CCs though.
