just put on cf.com where you are…it will bring the knuckleheads for sure. Someone did that to me about 8 years ago and I haven’t fished the spot since, too many idiots.

I’ve fished many a day (and school) on Lake Murray boatpoor. That’s when I break out the saltines, crumble & toss in and ease away as the gulls swarm and the fools rush in.
I seem to remember wanting to start a section for this kind of behavior. Call it the OFFENDERS. I also got internet yelled at by a girl.

Found it, this ended up being pretty funny. The admin took my picture down for legal reasons.

Try fishing Boca Grande Pass during the tarpon run if you want to see a CF [:0] 100+ pound fish jumping over and running under boats, passing rods boat to boat trying to clear lines…dangest thing I’ve ever seen. Everybody needs to do that, once. I’m a sucker for punishment, done it a few times, got the t-shirts, never again.

Ben Gardner’s nightmare from Jaws, haha!
This is why I don’t fish on weekends. The googans just don’t get and never will.I think most of the members of this forum are in the League of Southern Gentlemen and understand the protocol that was taught to us by our fathers and grandfathers as it relates to fishing drops. It is just common courtesy and we “get it”.

This is the reason I quit fishing the tailrace canal for shad. Tons of fun to catch but people will put their anchor in your boat. My father and I were fishing there in the 70’s and it would be less than 20 boats on the weekends. I fish the Santee river now and it is getting just as bad. The part that kills me is you can be on the first boat on the water 4hrs before daylight in the spot you want to fish freezing your butt off and don’t see a soul until it warms up and people will anchor right on top of you.

Oyster-trust me, there are “(**() Yankees” that are just as gentlemanly as you southern types-we may talk funny but we appreciate a good day on the water that brings some relaxation and fun.
