We fished the last of the falling tide last night around Pinckney Island. I have never seen so much bait in the water. When I popped a rattle cork, the bait would spray out in a circle two feet in diameter. There was so much activity on the top of the water, it looked like it was raining most of the time. We could get anything to bite. Ended up with one red fish, one blue fish and one trout. And a cooler full of finger mullet to freeze for cut bait later for later use. My guess is the reds and trout were so full they just weren’t feeding.
