Not saying that all coaches aren’t a little dirty.
Plus his protection of Scam Newton until he played for someone else and then he tried to make him lose the heisman just weeks before the ceremony speaks to the type of person Urban is. To to it off, now he’s coaching a bunch of criminals at Ohio State… I’ve lost all respect for the guy.
I hated Strong when he was at USC. He ran a soft defense, especially on 3rd downs. But as HC, he has really done well.
I think James Franklin does not get enough recognition. It hard to recruit at Vandy. He can not really “pick” his athletes.
And just for you Clemson fans. I think Spurrier is one of the top 2-3 in the country. I did NOT want him as our coach. I hated him at UF. But look at what he has done for USC.

The fact that Les Miles sits at #4 pretty much negates the validity of the poll, throw in there coaches that haven’t won or done a dang thing being ahead of coaches who have shows it was a pick’em after Saban was anointed.

I think it is hard to compare coaches from different conferences. The SEC has dominated lately. So it makes since to conpare to the SEC coaches. But there are coaches is the lesser conferences that perform very well just not at the national level. I’m talking about FBS schools. obviously FCS has good coaches also.
