Trolling for spot tails

Just wondering if anyone out there that has fished around Edisto had any luck trolling the creeks for spot tail bass. I had good luck with that in the upper Wando River near Paradise Landing and the Cainhoy Bridge when I lived in Mt. Pleasant. I have never had the same luck at Edisto.

Did’nt even know you could do that. What do you use?

Saltwater grubs and shad lures. (Red heads, green and white bodies).

The only thing I’ve caught while trolling around Edisto is trout.I recently moved down from mt. p as well and have had less success with reds down here in Edisto. It’s been like learning to fish all over again but I’m starting to get it down.

Spinnerbaits right Freezeman

Spottail activity is better in fresher water this time of the year. try up Edisto, Ashepoo and Combahee. Plenty spottails being caught in Combahee below and above Steel bridge. Bass spinner baits working well at rice field breaks on outgoing tide
