We need more “surf” captains.
MAD Charleston has chartered Adventure Harbor Tours to transport “surf” captains to Morris Island. Currently we have 5 “surf” captains, but we need more “surf” captains to be guides for the troops. Boat departs from Ripley Light Marina, and is free.

Update for the surf guy’s. We currently have 8 surf Captains and 24 soldiers heading out to Morris for the Mad trip. We are pairing 3 soldiers per captain. Hopefully the wind will not be an issue, and God willing the fish will show for these men and women. They are very appreciative and very excited. If anyone wants to join. It is not to late. Just PM me. See you folks at the captains meeting Friday. Take care folks. Anyone that has access to mullet in the cast net and plans on bringing some. Load up and bring all you can. We can take all you got.

The odds of catching some nice fish this saturday are good… A good picture to see all the fishing poles are line up in the beach… Wish I have a drone to take a nice video/pictures
Someone is looking out for us. Went out to see if I could round up some bait and did very well. We have enough fresh bait for everyone, mostly spots. A big bag for each fisherman. I don’t think the reds will have issue with it. Never seen them turn down fresh cut fish. If y’all want to bring some shrimp for smaller set ups it would be a good idea. If your not happy with spots bring what you prefer. Now we don’t have to waste time fishing for bait. We can target reds right off the bat. My wife is going to pitch a fit. The whole house smells like fish. Pray the wind won’t shut us down and bring some lead. I am going to bring a couple of spider weights. The current could be an issue with the strong NE winds. Still time if anyone wants to join, all are welcome. Plenty of room on da boat:smiley:
