The trout bite has been tough the past two days, at least for me and the people I have talked to. Full moon, murky water, changing winds, etc. But my clients, both days, have really fished hard, and coupling that with the finesse technique of creating a reaction bite has saved the day.

You must have been in a very noticeable or hot spot to only show the sky as the background.

I’m not tellin’!
Political Correctness: A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!

Edistobrad, Actually I was sitting on my butt, however that is a good idea. Bob

Lets try this again....
We probably caught between 15 and 20 trout. 4 keepers and many missed hits. The fish were defiantly feeling finicky. The stomachs of the keepers were filled with minnows.
We had success only on Bob’s special plastic jigs (See pic.). Bob was dead on with presentation and locations. It seemed like most of the bites were reaction bites and not feeding attempts. Of all of the other 4~5 boats we saw, we did not see anyone catch anything but a small shark. The fish in the pic (guy with the blue hat) was hooked from the outside of its mouth. I got lucky on that one.
Bob, Sorry you missed lunch. There must be something to keeping them in the live well until you are ready to clean them. The texture and flavor were amazing! We turned all 4 into a mighty tasty lunch. Thanks for a great day of fishing!
