put in at steamboat landing and fished until around lunchtime on sunday. kept 16 trout and 4 whiting. threw back close to 40 trout that were just under 14 inches. most fish were caught on live shrimp under a cork but several were caught on gulp baits under popping corks. great day on the water with very little wind. on a side note they seemed to hit the gulp baits just as well as the live shrimp.

started fishing on the high outgoing tide but didn’t have much luck until the tide was about halfway out. from the time it was halfway out until dead low we caught fish constantly.
