True Number 1?

After this week of underachieving top 10 teams, I am curious as to everyone’s opinion on who is the best team at this time in college football. Of course it will change, but it seems wide open after week 5.
I say Bama.

TCU
They were the first team out last year and felt shafted by that. They then went and destroyed Ole Miss in the bowl game and haven’t looked back.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

It certainly isn’t Ohio State.

TCU has been impressive too. I’m not sure many could compete with LSU right now either.

TCU should have been beat by Texas Tech. If not for a couple of very lucky plays and some fortunate calls, they would have lost. Baylor smoked Texas Tech. I honestly don’t know who the best team is, but Utah sure looks the part.

I’ve watched some greats play in Billy Brice and I can assure you that not many compare to Fournette. I saw Ingram put up like 280ish against us in Alabama one year, but #7 could easily put 300 on our weak defense this year.

That man has 1000 yards in four games…four.

Like I said.

Actually, I don’t think Les Miles is going to destroy SC like they are capable of. I think they let the RB get 150-200yds, then throttle back and get the second and third teams some play time. Plus, I think Miles has a lot of respect for Spurrier and won’t run it up on him.

I could be horribly mistaken

Wrong, it’s about the playoffs and impressing the committee. If Miles can run for 600yds and beat Sakkerliner by 50, he’ll do it. Feelings for SOS be (**()ed.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

You could be 100% correct, but I don’t think running for 600 and winning by fiddy against SC is really going to impress anyone all that much

LOL, as much as that hurts, I think you’re right.

Probably not, but it doesn’t hurt to put that insurance in your resume’. Is Sakkerliner even able to practice?

He will get Fournet his 4th straight 200 yard game and then sit him the 2nd half.

As for who should be #1. right now I have no issue with Utah or LSU. OSU as #1 is a joke.

What is LSU going to do when someone actually puts a body on him before he gets 4-5 yds? IMO, Alabama’s D would shut that team down worse than what happened between the hedges. Quarterback for LSU is unproven.

Big Ten haters!

No love for Florida? I have been impressed by them, so far. 11-3-2007 Darren McFadden rushed 35 times for 323 yards and Felix Jones Rushed 12 times for 163 yards against the Gamecocks. Arkansas totaled 541 rush yards. Fournette may do that by the 3rd quarter.

Key West 1720 115 HP Johnson Saltwater.

the #1 team is anybody’s guess right now.

Nobody is clear cut, all the top teams have question marks and many of not played other good teams yet.

And since we are guessing (even though I know its not true) I will just go with Clemson. Right Bonzo?

Shevy,
I agree. look at the teams the top 10 have played. I’m not sure any of them deserve to be top 10.

LSU’s line is dang good in my opinion. Fournette is all that much better for having good line play, but he is an incredibly violent runner. Those guys aren’t made but once every decade or so. Hershel already came out and said he was better than he was at Georgia.

I think LSU would beat Alabama today. The dynasty is over. Bama isn’t what they used to be a few years back. LSU’s QB is very average; I’ll agree there.

We shall see in a few weeks.
