Sunday was an unusual trip. Not many times that 2 young ladies show up for a trip with their own 8’ cast net. But Kristin and Erin proved that they could throw it to catch bait, and they could really fish. Outfished mother and brother, Jimmy. This family are fishing fools, and we had a great time.
Today, we got a Grand Slam. Flounder, Spottails, and Trout. Matt caught 2 nice Spottails. Brother, Brian caught a keeper flounder (which are few and far in between) and Trout.
Everybody’s worried about trout, but we caught so many 6"-12" Trout over the last 2 days that we had to move to keep them from eating all our bait.
