Tom brought along his buddies, Gary, John, and Ted. Their first time here. They usually go to the Outer Banks, and said that they will return. This afternoon’s football took a back seat as the fish started biting. It started out slow, but ended up tagging five 25-28" Spottails. One keeper, 22.5" spottail. Ten keeper Trout and released several small ones. All caught on live Mud Minnows.

Capt. Steve - just curious, have you had luck using your MM trap or are you buying them? Got a place over on Frampton Inlet, never had much luck catching MMs when the water gets cold. Got any tips?

Yeah, I catch alot during the winter. I use canned catfood and pieces of fish. Crab works well too. Even caught some small finger Mullet this week.
