John and John Jr. had a great day on the water yesterday. Couldn’t have asked for better weather. Jr. caught a 25", 27" and 30" Spottail. All tagged and released. Caught on the incoming tide on shrimp.
If the tide had gone any lower, we could have walked around and picked up the fish.

The tide was so low yesterday that we couldn’t even take the boat out at the marina ramp. Had to tie up at the dock and wait a couple of hours and come back.
I can’t imagine how bad the Live Oak ramp must have been yesterday at dead low tide.
On the way back in from the 40, we cut the corner across the sand bar off the beach. It was so low out on the Atlantic that we scraped bottom for a second…scared me.
Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…
