Thought we had a good omen when we saw the Eagle sitting on the No Wake Sign and let us approach close enough to get some pictures. Wrong!! The bait was hard to find. Calvin caught the first fish which was a danged old Gar. But the boy was very excited. We had to move 6 times before we finally found a 30 minute bite zone. Dad, Rob, hooked up first with a little Black Tip about 3 feet, but turned around immediately and hooked a large Spottail that cut off in the oysters. Grandpa, Stan, hooked up next and we boated a 31" Spottail. Next was Mitchell’s turn with a 27" Spottail. These fish were all caught on cut Mullet. Tagged and released.
