Fishing was good this afternoon despite the extreme tides, and we had a great time. We took two groups and headed into the creeks. Kevin, Tom, Justin and I had a great time and we ended out releasing two bonnetheads on top of releasing two hog reds. I eventually found the other group to see if he still knew how to tie on a hook and dang if they didn’t actually catch a fish. Back at the dock we saw just how good the Mizzou crew did. They brought in seven nice keepers. They also had released a big bonnethead and had hooked up with a giant ray. That one was released healthy too after some whining and squealing. We’ll look forward to seeing these guys next year for some more fishing.
Water temp was about 83.
Clarity was good even with the tide.
