Andrew (16) and Alex (17) called me up from Tampa and asked if I’d take some young fellas out fishing. Of course! I always enjoy fishing with the young people. Now, these guys fish regularly down in Florida, so now let’s do it Carolina style!
We headed out this morning and did pretty good by anybody’s standards. These guys didn’t get it at first that the trout eat good here in South Carolina and get to good size, but they are believers now for sure. Not soon after that, they saw what a few good home grown Carolina Reds look like, too. How about 32.5 inches and 12.5 lbs. When one of these runs on you, you better be holding on.
Guy’s, I had a great time, today. Ya’ll will be eating good tonight. I sure do look forward to spending some more time with you when you come back. Remember what I taught you about how to snag the good ones, too.
