Took out Tennessee boys today. It was their first fishing trip in saltwater. Caught bunches of small Spottails and Trout. Hooked three large ones that cut off. Didn’t encounter Redfish hunter today. The Menhaden are getting harder to find. Caught everything on live mullet and shrimp.

Where are the menhhaden going?
Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…
Posting on a message board all the time doesn’t make you smart. Frankly, it just means you probably need to get a life.
My thoughts are that the last full moon must have drawn alot of them offshore. Just a theory. But there are shrimp and mullet still there.
