There a bit of interest on meeting together on August 18th, per my other thread.
Since its looking like this is somewhere around the same line of thought, I wanted to forward this invitation as well.
I think it would be cool, meet other fisherman on the site as well as see how they come across there success, we could base it off how well people are doing at different locations.

id check it out, new to the area and dont know many people who fish.
First thing. Pick an organizer or 2. Make a facebook page, make admins, post on there so its not clogged up here. From there we can pick places and dates per month. I vote heartofthesun as leader because he suggested it. We could meet once or even twice a month at different locations around chucktown. Ill definitely show up

That’s a pretty good idea yakman! I agree heartsofthesun should be leaer because he thought of the idea, whatever the plan is we just need to get out there and fish!!!

Well,me and a friend is down for the meet ups for sure! I wonder if the forum would make a sticky with the link info for the get togethers?
I’m down for something like this. Making a facebook group would be a good idea too I think. If someone does make the group invite me or send me a PM on how to join.

How about this weekend guys? Me and a friend may come down this weekend.
(98% chance,waiting on some reels to arrive,which is due the 3rd).
We are looking at hunting beach pier as its apparently open all night.

my main goal for this was just to get ppl together who like to surf and pier fish.

Sounds good. We can keep an active fb page and pm you the location and choices, and anybody that doesn’t have/want to facebook. Open club anyone can join. 3rd Saturday of every month sounds good. As I said before id do it but can’t fffiigure it out on a mobile phone. Ryan aka 2fast92 can do it and make me an admin an a couple other peopke that wanna be admins. Can’t have to many organizers. Everybody can post on the fb where they fish the most and we will narrow it down to 2 choices per month,by what season the areas are best and conditions. I say 3 page admins at the most. I’m glad you thought of this heartofthesun its a great idea. Come on 2fast92 see this and make the page.
