Im headed down the 17th for a week and bringing the jon boat for the 1st time. I have searched all the topics about the landings and plan on putting in at steamboat. We plan on targeting trout, sheepshead and trying our hand at some flounder gigging. My boys are dying to catch a shark or two. This saltwater stuff is going to be a new adventure for us. Any tips and info would be greatly appreciated.

Sharks are almost automatic right now and great fun. Will bite cut bait but best with live bait. There are medium sized mullet up the creeks at low tide and menhaden al,over the south Edisto. Medium rod with small weight and circle hook on the bottom anywhere toward the sides of the river in 15-20 ft. Can get whiting at the same time with shrimp.
