Vacation report with pics 6/8-6/14

We decided to go back to Edisto for the first time since the kids were born . Had a blast. The week went by way too quick. Found the fish the last part of the week. Caught some nice bass and trout and one good flounder. They wanted live shrimp. Little man boated 4 bass solo and is a awesome net man.

Went to Morgan island but no monkeys. Ate lots of shrimp from Bennett’s pt. and caught crabs off the dock for a couple of dinners. True Vale now rents anchors! Just ask for Courtney!!

When B THOUGHT she was winning family tournament!

Great post! Thats what it’s all about… You have built lifelong memories for those kids. Good job Dad and happy Father’s Day

That is awesome…those kids will remember this, and how it made them feel, their entire lives. It’s great to see families enjoying themselves on the water.

cant beat the pic of your boy hugging that redfish, great way to get them started. good on ya!

Solid week Juice, hopefully we can go get on the fish soon.

That’s what Edisto is all about; and the fish were an added bonus!

Based on the pictures, I am guessing you will be back to Edisto - just don’t tell anyone else about Edisto so we can keep it to ourselves.

EWC

You gotta love the South Carolina Lowcountry.

nice pics, thanks for sharing.

Love those pictures! We will be down there in late July, I hope the fish will still be biting by then.

Nice. Heading down in late july ourselves. Your pics got me wanting to go right now. Great place to make family memories. Good for you guys engaging the little one’s in to a great family activity. Time flies with kiddos, so make the most of each day and opportunity. I started going to Edisto as a kid nearly 30 years back. I started taking my wife and 3 girls about 7 years ago and havent missed a year since. Edisto feels like home to us.

Went back again this year:

Fishing was tougher for sure but we still had fun.
Saw a few tailers in the grass but couldn’t close the deal. Caught about every inshore species around except black drum and sheeps and yes I did try for them.
Had a great time with the fam here are some pics.

Red in the surf(Credit to shamrock f o ), he lost a lot nicer one before this

5yr old coming along with the cast net:

Good trout

10# test I hooked it and passed it to him.

Creek dinner: Tomato pie, flounder , whiting, a soft shell and a blue crab we all caught

He wishes:

Juice that is way to cool. It looks like you guys had a blast, enjoy those trips as I am sure you do. It just seems like yesterday that we took those same trips to Edisto and now my daughter is in Grad school at the Citadel and my son is a Fireman couldn’t be any prouder of both but I miss those days.
