Is your boat ready for the summer? Here’s a great way to find out without the threat of a ticket or loss of life and limb! On Saturday, May 14, from 9:30am until noon, Palmetto State Armory and USCG Auxiliary 12-6 are offering free Vessel Safety Checks in our storefront parking lot at 3365 South Morgans Point Road in Mt. Pleasant. Vessel Safety Checks are offered for any watercraft (including non-motorized/kayaks/SUP’s) and ensure boaters have operable safety equipment required by the US Coast Guard, as well as SC DNR.
